What's new for the Top Fuel class at Weekend Frame?
For starters, we have bumped up the size of the major frame rails to 1-3/8". All the aluminum plate work is 7075-T6. A front mounted polyethelyne fuel cell frees up the rear of the bike for fuel & clutch management systems and other components. The rear wheel is now removable as an assembly, no more trying to line everything up and stab an axle through it all. We also have CAD designed and built inboard clutch models and have made changes to accomadate the bigger diameter 39-50 pulleys and 125 mm wide belt.
What will be new this fall? An improved forkset and some new styles in bodywork.
Here's an example of the primary drive on one of our inboard clutch models.
The chain guides have been beefed up to handle the punishment of double side plate chain. The front wraparound guide prevents frame damage
Our new billet 4130 axle adjusters are super tough and allow removal of the rear wheel without removing the axle.
Our new front mounted polyethelyne fuel cell moves weight forward and frees up the rear of the chassis for other components.
Inboard clutch models are available, call for details.
